It's that time of year again! This Thursday we're hosting officer elections for our ACM chapter!
Not only that, but 10 minutes prior we'll be meeting in room 203 to take a formal group photo! Dress professionally if you can!

Tomorrow we're having a student feedback session with the department's Industry Advisory Board. We encourage students to attend, as your feedback could help improve the curriculum and learning experience.
NOTE: Only advisory board members and students will be in the room. No staff/faculty will be present. If there's time afterwards, they will also do a Q&A about the industry!

This Thursday we'll be hosting a presentation over coding interview preparation! We'll talk about industry tips and tricks for getting past those dreaded code interviews found at larger companies like FAANG.

The ACM meeting tomorrow is all about web dev! We'll be hosting a presentation demonstrating how to deploy a professional, personal site using Azure. Adding a personal website to your resume can give you a leg up on the competition! 3:30 PM, AB1 Room 206.

Tomorrow's presentation is over LaTeX, a document preparation software system. It's essentially a markup language (like HTML) for word processing. It's very robust, and particularly good for technical or professional writing. A resume made with LaTeX will usually impress!

SHSU is one of only two universities that currently hold this research status within the Texas State University System (TSUS).
