🍂 SSCDC Family Tree 🍂

Over the past couple of weeks, our families have worked together with their children to decorate a leaf for our SSCDC Family Tree!

This has quickly become one of my favorite activities we’ve done with our families. Each leaf represents a unique family, but together, they create something beautiful that reflects what we value most here at SSCDC: our families and the special community we share!

We are so grateful for each and every family who makes SSCDC feel like home 💛

Jennifer is one of our newest team members, but she jumped right in like she had been here forever! From teaching her kids sign language to always having the cutest door designs, Jennifer always shows her creativity and love for children!

We ended our career week with a visit from the Denton family to talk about their jobs in plumbing and interior design, then had a visit from HEMSI!

Thank you, firefighters! 🔥🚒

We had a very special visit from some of our local firefighters! Our littles loved learning about what firefighters do, seeing the fire truck, and getting an upclose look at the gear they use to keep our community safe.

Community Helpers!

This week we are having some special visitors come and talk with our kiddos! Monday a police officer came (thank you to the Kern family) with his car and dog, Gemini. Today we had Farmer Jake come with a tractor from the Drake family!

Our PS4 and PreK classes had a busy morning exploring, experimenting, and discovering!

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Mrs. Karen!

Although Karen is one of the newest members of our team, she brings 15 years of teaching experience with her! Whether she’s leading crafts, singing during circle time, or keeping up with her energetic class of almost 2s, she amazes us every day with her patience, kindness, and unwavering dedication to our little learners.

We are so thankful to have Mrs. Karen as part of our team, and we know her students are lucky to learn and grow with her each day! 🍎
