· Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

· Degree from an accredited college in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline with experience as follows:

Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience
Master's degree with 7 years of experience
PhD with 4 years of experience
or other equivalent experience/combined education.

· Experience with analog, and power distribution design, analysis, and integration.

· Experience collaborating across engineering disciplines to create design solutions.

· Experience coordinating and leading collaborative with participants from multiple locations and disciplines.

Desired Skills

· Inclusive and adaptable interpersonal and communication skills

· Hyperlynx, MATLAB, PSPICE, Mathcad, or similar analysis tools

· Zuken schematic capture or layout tools

Direct Position
Electrical / Mechanical Design Engineer / CREO
The qualified applicant will become part of Space Launch System (SLS) program, located in Huntsville, Alabama.
Responsibilities:
• The Engineer will perform Avionics/Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) product development using Creo Parametric/Creo Schematic.
• The candidate will apply standard engineering practices to plan and execute product development activities within an avionics group.
• Support reviews and assist other their product development.
• Support real-time problem resolution of issues encountered during development. Work with Engineers, customers, suppliers, and SLS teammates to ensure planning is technically sound and appropriate artifacts will be gathered to support avionic activities.
• The Engineer will report progress and identify risk areas.
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
• Bachelors’ degree in business administration, management or related field, or the ability to obtain a Customer/NASA background check for which requires US Citizenship.
• The applicant must have strong communication skills and are capable of working in a multi-tasking environment while supporting multiple activates concurrently.
• The applicant must be capable of working with minimal supervision.
• The applicant must be proficient using Microsoft Office applications
Preferred:
• Experience designing test equipment in a lab environment
• Experience in documenting design in Visio
• Experience working with avionics hardware
• Experience with APDM/Windchill release system
