We are excited to invite you and your community partners to join the Walking Like a CHAMPION Challenge. Walking Like a CHAMPION is an energizing, community-focused program designed to get youth and adults moving, motivated, and thriving! This dynamic program promotes regular physical activity while helping participants reduce key risk factors associated with chronic diseases, including obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and certain cancers.
Participants will enjoy interactive and fun movement sessions featuring walking, aerobic dance, and muscle-strengthening activities designed for all fitness levels and focused on building strength, endurance, and confidence. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to elevate your routine, this program meets you where you are and encourages progress at your own pace.
We’re excited to partner with the Virginia Caples Lifelong Learning Institute (VCLLI) to launch a Walking Challenge from March 1 through April 30, 2026. This challenge encourages participants to stay active, have fun with friendly competition, and build healthy habits together.
