Looking forward to welcoming back our alumni at tonight's homecoming game! Here's one of our very own...Meet Stef Winkelman!
Winkeman said she’s always had an interest in psychology. When she was in fourth grade, her mom began working as a paraprofessional in Huntley 158. This bridged her interest between psychology and working with the special education/special needs population.
After taking an AP Psych class at HHS and having a great experience in the district, specifically in elementary school with many amazing educators, Winkelman decided to come back to her roots and make a difference for the future generation.
When asked if she had any advice for current students she said, “Don’t be afraid to stand up for what’s right, be yourself, or make a difference. You never know what impact you can have on someone else’s life; even the smallest acts of kindness can make a world of difference.”
