📣 HHS Families: Please join us for our Back to School event to follow your student's schedule, meet their teachers and learn about classes! Students are encouraged to attend.

1st period: 4:30 PM – 4:40 PM
2nd period: 4:45 PM – 4:55 PM
3rd period: 5:00 PM – 5:10 PM
4th period: 5:15 PM – 5:25 PM
5th period: 5:30 PM – 5:40 PM
6th period: 5:45 PM – 5:55 PM
7th period: 6:00 PM – 6:10 PM
8th period: 6:15 PM – 6:25 PM
▪ Parking is available in the main and west lots and you can enter the building through Door 1 or Door 27. Building maps will be available at both locations.
▪ Tours start promptly at 4:30 PM. You will spend 10 minutes in each class with 5-minute passing periods. Student schedules are available in PowerSchool. Bring a printed copy of your student’s schedule or have it available on your phone. NHS student leaders will be available throughout the building to point you in the right direction!
▪ During your child’s designated lunch hour, head to the cafeteria for a brief presentation by school counselors. McHenry County College will also be on-site to answer questions and provide information.
▪ Optional: MCC will give a brief presentation on dual credit, dual degree and career pathway courses from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m in the cafeteria.
