🎉 We are excited to share that the Huntington Scottish Rite Foundation has received a $2,000 grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation!

Support from the Pallottine Foundation originally allowed us to provide Science of Reading training and SPELL-Links curricula to speech-language pathologists serving designated Appalachian counties. The response demonstrated that the need extends far beyond those original service areas.

This new funding will help us expand access to SPELL-Links curricula for SLPs serving K–12 students in schools, clinics, and outpatient settings across West Virginia. By pairing evidence-based training with the materials clinicians need to put that knowledge into practice, we can help more students receive high-quality, structured literacy intervention.

We are grateful to the Dollar General Literacy Foundation and the Pallottine Foundation for helping us equip West Virginia SLPs to better support students with language-based literacy needs.
