🎟️ Fourth graders can get a free family pass to all National Parks for a year.

🗻The Every Kid Outdoors program gives fourth graders and their families free access to over 2,000 federal parks, lands, and waters for an entire year. The pass is offered every year to fourth graders in the United States. No matter where you live in the U.S., you’re within two hours of an included site. Every Kid Outdoors was created so fourth graders and their families could discover our wildlife, resources, and history for free. The program chose fourth graders because research shows that kids ages nine to 11 are beginning to learn about the world around them. They’re open to new ideas, and they are likely to connect to nature and our history.

Starting tomorrow we will have someone redoing a road for months in our front yard! It’s been hard for me to decide what to do for classes and camps with knowing this. After tomorrow I’ll figure out what that looks like, and then we will get the school year started!! Hope everyone is having a great start to their year! ❤️

🌼 Re‑Introducing Myself: A Little Bit of My Story

As I’ve been dreaming up new camps, field trips, and adventures for our Wildflowers, I felt like it was the perfect time to reintroduce myself and share a piece of my heart.

When I was younger, I spent time on missionary trips in Dominican Republic, serving in refuge camps and learning what it meant to show love, compassion, and hope in places that needed it most. Those experiences shaped me deeply — they taught me who I wanted to be, how I wanted to serve, and the kind of impact I hoped to make in the world.

Working with children or helping others has always been my passion. Every camp, every class, every field trip, every moment of curiosity and joy — these are the experiences that shape who they are and who they will become. Just like those early missionary trips shaped me.

🌻 How the Wildflowers Grow has always been about more than activities. It’s about planting seeds that grow into character, courage, and compassion.

What is an experience from your childhood or teen years that shaped your life?
I’d love to hear your stories. ❤️🌿
