It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend, colleague, and long time, Head Start family member, Shirley Bias, lovingly known as Ms. Shirley. Shirley spent many years nurturing three and four year old children in Cabell and Wayne counties. Spending over 50 years in the education field, Ms. Shirley has left a lasting impact on countless children, families, and coworkers. She was a light to everyone who knew her. Always smiling, encouraging others, and looking for the good in everyone she met. Her kindness, generosity, faith, and dedication to serving others made her truly special.
Ms. Shirley will be deeply missed, but the love, joy, and positive impact she shared with so many will never be forgotten. We extend our deepest sympathy and prayers to her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
