We have been told that Cara Bailey and Marshall University caused the medallions given out to the Society of Yeager Scholars scholars to remove the Chuck Yeager name. Marshall admin, allegedly including Cara Bailey, said the Yeagers asked Marshall to do this. This was & is a bold face lie.
Cara also denied the Society of Yeager Scholars the opportunity to have a back door exclusive tour of Sotheby's in London to preview the auction items for Freddie Mercury which would have been set up by Mrs. Chuck Yeager.
Avi, the Vice Chair who left, was the only one supportive of Mrs. Yeager, the living history, to speak to the Society of Yeager Scholars and the Board.
Cara Bailey & Brad Smith have prevented it.

Brad Smith continues to dishonor General Chuck Yeager, his legacy, & his wife (after all that General Chuck Yeager & Mrs. Chuck Yeager have done for Marshall University). Is he in competition? Last January, Brad Smith agreed that commingling of funds and the mismanagement of the Yeager Endowment are crimes. What is he doing about it? Instead of fixing the problems, he hired a lawyer to lie (IMHO - the lawyer admitted to lying) and gaslight the Yeagers and refuses to let the Yeagers know what has happened to their endowment fund or return it. Why won't Brad Smith fix it? Why does he want to commingle or subjugate the Yeager name with his own Brad & Alys Smith scholarships?
According to Brad Smith, he has created at least one scholarship at Marshall and one at WVU, the rival school. He has donated a lot of money for good putting his name on those buildings he has restored. If he wants to appear as a good guy, why doesn't he just sit down to mediation without the unprofessional, dishonest attorney?
