Can you believe we are only days away from the reunion!?
Here is an update and reminder of events!!!
Saturday at 12:00 noon the principal of Vinson Middle School will meet whoever wants to 'walk-through' at the front door entrance. Be there on time because the doors will be locked and she will be watching for us.
Saturday at 7:00pm will be the main event at The Huntington House, 1349 6th Ave (if you scroll down to an earlier post you will see a nice picture and history of this house). There will be a cash bar, only $2 beer and wine, and bartended by our very own Ronnie Black!!! The evening is full of fun... awesome food, musical entertainment by Jimi Mitchell, Then and Now slide show, fun awards, photo opps, memorabilia, wine cellar raffle....
Please don't forget to bring a bottle of your favorite wine, you will recieve a ticket and if your number is drawn you get to take home the entire wine cellar!!!
If you haven't already paid, please do so with cash at the door.
Sunday morning Pastor Ronnie Adams has invited us to attend morning worship (10:45 am) at his church, Central Church of the Nazarene, which is located at 1102 Adams Ave (behind Dutch Miller). Pastor Ronnie's sermon will be about "The Next Twenty Years".
The family picnic will follow on Sunday afternoon at 1:00pm at the Kellogg Elementary playground. We are asking everybring a side dish or desert to the picnic.
We are expecting a great turnout this weekend and I can't wait to see everyone!!!

Wow we are just 2 weeks ago, I can hear the treadmills going 100 miles an hour, ha!
Just for fun we have planned something called "The Wine Cellar". We are asking everyone who wants to participate to please bring a bottle of their favorite wine to contribute to the cellar and in turn you will receive a raffle ticket. Toward the end of the evening we will have a drawing and whoever's number gets drawn will win the ENTIRE wine cellar!!!!!
(You can bring more than one bottle for extra chances to win the cellar).

I'm going to start trying to put together a slideshow & also a memorial for our classmates who are no longer with us. The ones I can think of who were in our class at least at some point (either most of the way through or at graduation) are Scott Poole, Cindy Gray, and Billy Gilkerson. If anyone knows of anyone I have forgotten, please let me know. Anyway, I'm going to need some help with these projects & hope that you all can come through for me. I'd like pictures that anyone would like to contribute to either project. If you have electronic copies, you can send them to me on here or through email at [email protected]. If you have some to send by mail, I can scan them. Just let me know & I can send you my address. Please spread the word to anyone you know of that's not included here. Also, any further input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Here are a few details for our reunion weekend! We are expecting a great turnout, everyone I've talked to seems to really be excited!!! Saturday July 27th at 7:00pm will be our main event at The Huntington House with heavy hordourves, a DJ, cash bar, and our very own, Jimi Metal, is going to set up and perform a few songs for us!!! Saturday afternoon I'm setting up tours of Vinson Middle and Spring Valley High just for those who might want to see what's changed and what's new. I'll get back with you on the times for that. The cost is $50/couple $25 individual for Saturday night, Sunday is free and YES we need the money now because I still haven't paid the deposits yet. :)

There is no charge if you are paying out of a bank account but if you are transferring from your debit/credit card, there will be a $2 fee. So, please, make sure you allow for that fee.

The cost for the reunion festivities is $50/couple ($25 individual), and we already have deposits due on the venue and catering so if anyone can go ahead and send in your checks it would be GREATLY appreciated! Plans are coming together nicely for the reunion!!!
The main event, which is Saturday evening July 27th, will be held at the Historic Huntington House on 6th Avenue.
