Marshall University Student Veterans Association

This Wednesday, the Marshall University Student Veterans Association will be holding the end of the year meeting and officer elections. All current officers will be passing the torch this semester, and there are leadership positions open for the taking.

This meeting will be held at Fat Patty's at 6:00pm on Wednesday, April 4th. We will also be joined by a special guest: Senator Richard Ojeda!

The Student Veterans Association will be holding our monthly meetings next week.

Meetings will be held:
Wednesday at 3:30pm
Thursday at 3:00pm

Both meetings will be held in the Veterans Lounge in Gullickson Hall, room 211.

There are many changes coming to this page, as we are changing the branding of the organization. We will keep you updated on these changes as they come.

As for an update on where the organization is headed: We are reinventing Vets 4 Vets so that it is not only more marketable, but more self-sufficient and organized. This includes the drafting of a new constitution, utilization of the new Military and Veterans Affairs office, creation of the new logo (which will be made into a patch in the near future), and extending membership in a way that keeps this a veteran's organization, but also gives anyone on campus the opportunity to help out with our events and support our cause.

ALTERNATE VETS 4 VETS MEETING This Thursday at 3:00. Gullickson 211. This is for the people that couldn't make it to meeting last Wednesday, and we will be discussing new meeting times for next semester.

Vets 4 Vets meeting tomorrow at noon in the Veteran Lounge (Gullickson 211). There will be lunch provided, and we will be discussing accommodations for those who can't participate in the monthly meetings due to class.

Veterans Expo will be today (4pm-8pm) at American Legion Post 16! This is being held in conjunction with their $1 burgers event.

Just a reminder, our monthly Vets 4 Vets meeting is tomorrow at 12pm.

Due to circumstances beyond our control the fundraiser tomorrow will be cancelled. We will discuss rescheduling at our next regular meeting this Wednesday at 12 o'clock.
