**Vinson Middle School Community Announcement**

Good morning, Vinson Middle School families and community members,

Please be advised that Vinson Middle School will be conducting scheduled crisis safety drills this morning as part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe and prepared learning environment for our students and staff.

During these drills, you may notice increased activity or hear reports related to our safety procedures. **There is no emergency situation at the school, and there is no cause for concern.** These are planned practice exercises designed to help students and staff become familiar with appropriate safety protocols.

We appreciate your support and understanding as we continue to prioritize the safety and well-being of everyone at Vinson Middle School.

Football Fundraiser! Vinson Middle School Football 2026

Vinson Middle School will be hosting a "Stuff the Truck" event through Goodwill on Saturday, September 26th from 11am-2pm. A Goodwill truck will be parked in the front of the school for members of our community to drop off donations. It's a great way to declutter while also helping Vinson Middle School. Please review the list of acceptable donation items. We hope to see you then!!

Good afternoon, Vinson Tigers!

We have a situation!

A friend of Vinson, Dwayne, has discovered that 50 of his favorite ducks have gone missing! These aren't ordinary ducks. They're special ducks that represent responsibility, effort, and success.

Dwayne is trying to get his ducks in a row, but he can't do it alone. He needs the help of Vinson students!

Over the next several weeks, students can help find Dwayne's missing ducks by demonstrating:

✅ Great attendance
✅ Positive behavior
✅ Academic effort and growth

Students who find or earn a duck will turn them in to Mrs. Hurley during 5 A, B, or C.
