My Tutor Maggie In 1:1 virtual sessions, middle + high schoolers learn grammar, vocab, and pronunciation. I share tips + tricks on how to learn more vocab in less time.

As we work together, they gain confidence + proficiency in the language. Most of all, we have FUN! :) Maggie holds a Master's Degree in French and a Bachelor's in Spanish. Before teaching French at Penn State University, she spent 8 months traveling solo around Europe, working at the GAP in Paris, and a soccer shop in Rome. While traveling in Spain, she wanted to be a Flamenco dancer in Sevilla, fell in love with eating churros dipped in chocolate after midnight in Madrid, and gawked at Gaudi's uniquely artistic and lively architecture while strolling through Barcelona. Maggie grew up in a multicultural household in New York and is a Grammar Geek at heart. She loves different accents - both hearing them spoken and helping people perfect them - and she feels lucky to hear "Ooooooh, I get it!" pretty regularly in sessions as things click for students. She keeps things light + fun and feels grateful to be able to teach one-to-one virtual classes that are custom-tailored to student needs. Please reach out to say hello.
