Another week another conference! Congratulations to our fabulous PGY-3, Dr. Gundakaram, and PGY-2, Dr. Madho, for their incredible work traveling to Houston this week to present at SOHO 2026! Additionally Dr. Madho was presented with the Young Investigator Travel Scholarship (YIP), only 200 selected each year.🩸✨ We are so proud of these two future HemeOnc physicians for their hard work and representing our program so well. (Ft. two of our former MUIM residents at the end😉)

We are so proud of our very own Jowan Al-Nusair, MD for receiving the Bradley Stuart Beller Endowed Merit Award at ASCO 2026 and for delivering an oral presentation at the meeting. This award is given to the trainee with the highest-ranking abstract overall as determined by the Scientific Program Committee. This is a shining example of the incredible research our residents are capable of. Congratulations Jowan! Conquer Cancer Foundation
