🎁🎁CCCTC Fills Community’s Empty Stockings

A group effort between the students, staff, and National Technical Honor Society at CCCTC provides gifts for many local individuals in need as part of the Empty Stockings Project. Each year, when the Herald-Dispatch publishes a list of needs from various community organizations including Branches Domestic Violence Shelter, Homeless Veterans Resource Center, Cabell Wayne Association for the Blind, Ronald McDonald House, Cammack Children's Center, and many other worthy organizations, the crew at CCCTC rises to the challenge.

Together, they fundraise money to be able to purchase gifts, go shopping, and wrap presents to make the holidays brighter for people in our community. For over 20 years, this beloved annual tradition has been a priority for the CCCTC community.
This year, under the direction of teacher sponsor Tiffany Beals, students raised over $1,700 to make this possible.

This year's Empty stockings project was brought to a close today with the delivery of gifts for 55 individuals from 11 different organizations in Cabell County! It truly takes the entire school to make this project a success, and once again the Cabell County Career Technology Center stepped up to the challenge. Thanks to everyone who donated to this worthy cause, whether in time or money. Happy holidays!

Some of our students led a successful school wide service project to help some of those in need this holiday season. Thanks to them, 11 different organizations will get gifts to help 55 people in our county who are in need. Great job everyone!

The next couple weeks we will be raising money to make Empty Stockings wishes come true! These people want things so many of us take for granted... clothes, towels, shampoo, etc. If you can please consider donating to this worthy cause. Message us or contact Tiffany Beals to donate between now and Dec 15!

For this year's Halloween event we joined the Huntington Mall's Monster Maul Trick-or-Treat! A great time was had by all, and we saw a lot of great kids in some pretty amazing costumes!

Please join us in congratulating this year's esteemed inductees! Our 10th annual induction ceremony honored 38 outstanding new members to our chapter, all highly deserving individuals. We can't wait to see what other successes they achieve in both their education and future careers. 🎉

The NTHS induction ceremony will be this Thursday. Join us at the Board of Education office at 6pm!

Last week, our students helped pull off another successful blood drive! With 68 successful units, that's potentially 200 lives our students have helped save!
