Students in Mrs. Phillips' 8th grade science classes are working on recording different types of data and the scientific method. They are looking at a variety of different pictures and as a small group identifying five observations and making five inferences about each picture. The students really enjoy moving and learning at the same time. They will use these pictures to write their first CER of the year in science. Mrs. Phillips' classes are on task and ready to learn! 🔬💛🦅🖤

Students in Mr. Jefferson’s math class are learning about ratios and percents this week! Students completed a fun and tasty Skittles Lab, where they found part-to-part and part-to-whole ratios and converted them into percents. They compared and shared data as a class, and best of all, the students got to enjoy their tasty treats when they were finished!
