Our instructional writing workshops put smiles on the faces of those students who formally disliked writing. How many children learn syntactic analysis, grammar parallelism, or the use of creative interjections in kindergarten?

Sixteen gifted students in grades 6-10 hold a mock trial featuring a 50-page case from Georgetown Law. And the judge is a VEG alumni who stayed in the program for 6+ years.
Of course, she is finishing her law degree at an Ivy League school now. It was an amazing event for all!

Since all VEG vocabulary and advanced etymology lessons are accompanied by American Sign Language, students are becoming quite fluent. They can even sign a song… in half the time! Check out this curriculum demonstration.

Ages 4–6 learn the twelve major organs (with exact locations and functions ) as well as the ten major bones of the skeletal system… in one four-day summer workshop.
These incredible young learners were taught a way of remembering using pareidolia techniques (animating shapes) and creative storytelling. As you can see, it worked!
Village East Gifted teaches chemistry starting in kindergarten: one element at a time. Within a semester, our “Little Einsteins” memorize the whole Periodic Table of Elements. They learn about atomic mass, chemical symbols and how the elements are used in every day life. Then… they dress up like their favorite element and sing about it! FYI-one of our alumni got a perfect score on her chemistry test… without studying. I wonder why?
