One thing I've noticed over the years of being in the presence of kids of all ages is their fleeting attention span. Something that has been learned from us (the grown ups). But we were taught how to think, now kids are being told how to think. What do I mean exactly?
Well in school from my experience is we were taught to figure things out, search for the answer. Deduct from exploration and carry it onto our play time with our social groups. Now we are indoors and plugged in.

What can we do to help? The best is to read, explore what they've read. Look up examples of things they don't understand. Help them visualize for themselves, teach them how to use their own imaginations. Too many of us are learning how to use the tablet or tv for entertainment but don't know how to entertain ourselves...

Finally teach them that to be still in the body is ok, cause the mind doesn't have to be.
It's ok to be bored
It's ok to be still
It's ok to be calm
It's ok to do nothing

Hi Moms/Dads

Having a hard time getting rid of lice and keeping them off, here are a few of our favorite store products and natural remedies. Follow these easy steps...

1. Rid Lice Treatment, use a shower cap so your child can move easily around the house. Rinse and follow step 2.
2. Once you wash your child's head, before removing them from the shower apply Apple Cider Vinegar.
3. Apply heat, blow dry your child's hair thoroughly and apply a straightening iron to burn the lice (they die instantly), this step is optional for those who do not believe in using hot tools on their children's hair. It will help you comb through easier for those who have curly hair.
4. Use the comb from the kit a couple of times until the hatched eggs no longer come out.
5. Repeat Apple cider vinegar for a week while using the comb.
6. Go in and pull them out manually, the comb can miss some of them.
7. Use tea tree oil in a spray bottle 1 part tea tree oil to 2 parts water and a bit of conditioner before you style their hair.
