A French dip take on the Vietnamese Banh Mi with a side of... pho broth. Would you try it?
The pho banh mi by Chloe Nguyen at East Borough in Culver City (part of Los Angeles County). Another interesting new banh mi I had this week. Think a French beef dip but with a side of pho broth; the beef is cooked in the broth. Raw bean sprouts, basil, chile and mayo are inside. Who said banh mi was boring or limited? Ha.
