Movie Set Building & Design…. Then Animate with LEGOS 05/30/2019

(Ages 7 – 14)

Join this incredible new camp where participants will design and build their own miniature sets using XPS foam and special painting techniques to create life-like set pieces to use in your own animated movies. Utilizing the same techniques that set builders use in Hollywood, participants will build castles, brick walls, mountains, trees, and wood structures. The real transformation happens when participants apply special painting techniques such as base coating, dry brushing, highlighting and washing which bring these miniature sets to life! After the finishing touches are complete, participants will then use Lego characters to create their own Stop-Motion animation movie. Whether it’s a re-creation of an epic pirate battle scene, or an adventure in another galaxy, this workshop is the ultimate chance to have a hand in ALL aspects of movie-making! There will be a $25 material fee payable to the presenter at the first meeting
