Your job isn’t to make everyone happy.

Your job is to create clarity.
Set expectations.
Hold people accountable.

Your team doesn’t need another friend.
They need a leader they can trust.

And sometimes being trusted means being willing to p**s someone off.

Stop trying to be liked.
Start trying to be respected.

AI is NOT replacing coaching!
It’s becoming an assistant—not a replacement.

And honestly? That’s a good thing.

AI can help you brainstorm. AI can analyze information. AI can help you organize your thoughts, create a plan, write an email, or even give you ideas you hadn’t considered.

But my clients still want—and NEED—the human factor.
Because AI can’t truly hold you accountable.

It can remind you what you said you were going to do… but it can’t look you in the eye and ask, “So…why the hell didn’t you do it?” 😂

• AI can give you strategies.
It can’t have the tough conversation you’ve been avoiding.
• It can give you feedback.
It can’t recognize the hesitation in your voice, the fear behind your excuse, or the moment you’re about to talk yourself out of something.

And for me?
AI sure as hell can’t give you THE LOOK that has stopped a car in Santa Monica traffic as I jay walked! 👀

You know the one.
The look that says, “You already know the answer. Stop making excuses.”

Coaching isn’t about having access to more information.

It’s about having someone who sees you, challenges you, believes in you, calls your bulls**t, and refuses to let you stay stuck.

AI can be a powerful tool.
But the human connection?
That’s not going anywhere.

Use AI to make you better.
Don’t use it as an excuse to eliminate the humans who help you BECOME better.

WHAT IS COACHING?
Coaching isn’t a perk.

Coaching is a STRATEGY.

Especially when you’re building confident leaders who are expected to lead people who may have more years, more experience, or a completely different way of doing things.
And let’s talk about the younger leaders stepping into management today.

You can be the smartest person in the room and STILL struggle to lead the person who’s been doing the job for 25 years.

That’s where coaching comes in.

Coaching helps leaders:
• Build the confidence to lead without pretending they know everything
• Communicate across generations without the “back in my day…” drama
• Develop the skills to influence, delegate, give feedback, and hold people accountable

Well, Hello August!

Here we are starting Mid Q3.
What's going on in your world? Kids back to school? Business picking up or slowing down? New location? New client or project? New goal? Pesky challenges?

Whatever it is… what are you doing to make sure you overcome any challenges or make sure you succeed?

• GOAL: Do you a plan?
• CHALLENGES: Do you know what's causing them?

Many business owners / leaders tend to feel like they're the only one going through whatever it is they're facing. Please know that you are NOT ALONE! Or, they don't know who or how to talk about what's going on.

It always helps to write things down. They look A LOT different on paper than in your head! (I guarantee that!)

Identify what's going on, what your distractions or challenges are, and then really think through what your options are. What have you tried and not tried.

REALLY THINK THROUGH THIS!!
This is the time when you work ON your business vs in it.
• Is the challenge a staff person that you love… BUT?
• Is your goal new or one that's been on your list for a while?

MAKE THE PLAN!
