Come in and paint a silk or cotton bandana, or a trucker cap for just $30 each, using the fascinating art of painting on water, then dipping your item into the tray. Or, opt for the gold standard of a six-foot-long 100% silk scarf or table runner for just $49!

This artist/acquaintance learned from her followers that a rug featuring her original design was being sold without her permission (she succeeded in getting it taken down). Another colleague had to sue Amazon to get them to stop selling her products on their platform. We’ve had similar situations happen to us - as have many others. Just because an image is online doesn’t mean anyone can use it for their own profit!!

We are calling on our representatives in Congress to escalate their efforts to protect the intellectual and creative property rights of artists in all genres.

I made some marbled cotton with the help of @mayusilkart in Bolsa Chica. This week I used some of it for a tote. The cool zipper and strap are from @sewinglablosal and @lafinchfabrics_new and the pattern is more or less from @bookhou’s patchwork book. Pardon me while I go tote some stuff around.
