In many schools, TK is just the beginning. At Hebrew Academy, TK is the capstone. 🎓
Our TK students are the oldest in the preschool program, which gives them a unique opportunity to step into leadership roles. Whether it’s helping a younger friend or taking charge of their own projects with our “Save My Work” signs, these students are building the self-assurance they need for the big transition ahead.
By the time they reach Kindergarten, they aren’t just students, they’re confident leaders. 🌟
Hebrew Academy Jewish Preschool
Our fully integrated program weaves Jewish and American customs with a unique
developmental Judaic and Academic Preschool Curriculum.
Think a Jewish preschool experience is just about tradition?
Think again.
At Hebrew Academy Preschool, we believe a strong cultural foundation is the launchpad for a world of imagination.
Whether our students are exploring our heritage in the Passover story or retelling Rapunzel on our playground “tower,” we provide a space where there are no limits to their creativity.
We aren’t just teaching lessons; we’re nurturing the confidence to be exactly who they are—and whoever they want to become.
At the Hebrew Academy, leadership isn’t taught in a textbook—it’s built through confidence, community, and the courage to be exactly who you are. This year’s Purim Parade is more than costumes and candy. It’s our students stepping into their power, celebrating their heritage, and learning that in our community eac of us matters. From our 11-acre Huntington Beach campus to the heart of the Jewish community, we are proud to lead the way.
The secret to how they grow? It’s all in the roots. 🌱
This week, for Tu B’Shevat, our preschool celebrated Generations Day, a morning when the smallest hands held the wisest.
At the Hebrew Academy, we believe education isn’t just about the “branches” (what a child learns); it’s about the “roots” (who a child becomes). By honoring our heritage and connecting our students with the generations before them, we are building the confidence and identity they need to lead the next one.
When a child knows where they come from, there is no limit to how high they can grow.

Peek a Boo: The Jewish Mommy & Me that there for you.
This is Hebrew Academy Mommy & Me, where toddlers and parents share their first Jewish experiences through music, art, sensory play, and time together.
Right now, we’re celebrating Tu B’Shevat planting, creating, and exploring themes of growth and roots in a way young children understand.
Each month follows the Jewish calendar, which means every session feels different and timely.
If you’re searching for a Mommy & Me near you or a Jewish early childhood program, this happens every Tuesday at 9:30 am.
It starts with curiosity.
A question. A spark.
In our TK classroom, a child sat with a blank page and said,
“Can you help me make a calendar for my mom?”
With gentle guidance, he led the moment — and created something all his own.
Because when children feel safe, supported, and seen,
they don’t just learn — they discover what they’re capable of.

He started excited.
The challenge got hard.
You could see the frustration rise.
He took a breath… kept going… and then the smile came.
That smile was earned.
In Transitional Kindergarten, we do not rush past challenge. We teach children to stay with it, trust themselves, and celebrate the moment it clicks.
Because confidence is not given.
It is built, tried, rebuilt, and cheered for.
This is what learning looks like when children feel safe to try.
