Hats off to our amazing principal, Rob Murdock for putting together an amazing career day. Our campus was filled with dozens of generous parents, grandparents and other community members who provided real life career information to our kiddos, all the way from TK- 6th grade. Our volunteers were true rock stars. Our fabulous spread set up snacks to nourish them! Thank you to all involved!

Congratulations to Schroeder alumni, Katelyn Nguyen who is preparing to compete in the Scripp’s National Spelling Bee. Kayelyn, currently a seventh grader at Stacey Middle Achool, is the first Westminster student to ever compete at the national level. She and her family, along with her sixth grade teacher, Barbara Griffith, are busy with pre- competition activities in Washington, DC. Katelyn, we are so proud of you!

Today we celebrated our Marvelous Mustangs for a variety of reasons - perseverance, kindness, academic excellence and more. We tacked on a special surprise at the end where students gave brief speeches about how Mr. Murdock has made Schroeder a happy place for learning. He was presented with his very own “Thumbs up” statue to commemorate the celebration. Thank you for being a great leader, Mr. Murdock!

These amazing Schroeder Mustangs honored the staff with this beautiful poster. They spent weeks creating the hundreds of paper stars that adorn this creation.

Schroeder has a lot of amazing things going on. Tonight we hosted a very successful PTA Family night where both students and parents had the opportunity to create ceramic masterpieces. Skate night is coming up next Monday. We have a Mom and me next week as well!
Mr. Murdock, our principal is conducting tours where parents and prospective students can see what is going on in the classrooms! More news will be coming soon.
