WHS 1971 50th Class Reunion

From Mike Dodd's brother-in-law: HB lost a great coach today!Mike Dodd 30 year coach of baseball, football, and teaching at Huntington Beach and Marina High Schools died this morning with complications of cancer. Mike grew up in Westminster, played championship baseball and football for Westminster High and Goldenwest Community College finishing his teaching degree at Long Beach State. Mike went on to play professional baseball with the Minnesota Twins. He came home and married life long sweetheart , Cathy Yohan also a teacher who proceeded him passing away last year. They raised three children, Phillip, Erin, and Amy and five grandchildren. He was my brother in law and is survived by his older brother, Dan and younger sister, Julie. Mike will be sorely missed by all sports fans in HB, friends, and most of all his family!

Hello from Debi and Gary. We have paid a deposit (out of our pockets) to reserve the hotel and we need to get an idea of how many of you are planning to attend for the hotel to ensure there is enough food among other things. Also, if you know for sure that you are going to attend, you should consider buying tickets now as the venue limits us to 150 people.
