Mesa View Middle School will be open tomorrow and we will continue on our regular school schedule.

Today we’re showing our amazing staff some extra love with surprise snacks and goodies. Thank you for the care, energy, patience, and heart you bring to our students and school community every single day. We appreciate you more than words can say!

Join us for Tomorrow, Tuesday of Staff Appreciation Week: Gratitude Wall! 💛

Students, families, and staff are invited to spread kindness by leaving thank-you notes and encouraging messages on staff doors and outside the library. Let’s fill our campus with words of appreciation for the incredible people who make our school such a special place!

State testing is coming up soon for all students in grades 3–8! 📚✨

Students will take assessments in Reading and Math, and our 8th grade students will also take the Science assessment.

A few important reminders:

✅ State tests are not timed
✅ Students may take as long as they need
✅ Mesa View will provide a place for students to continue testing throughout the day, if needed
✅ Students should get plenty of rest, eat a healthy breakfast, arrive on time, and bring a charged device

We are proud of our students and know they are ready to show what they have learned this year! 🌟

10 students from Mrs. Croal’s and Ms. Stalcup’s classes, along with our library specialist Ms. Miller, had an exciting opportunity to preview and share feedback on possible cover designs for Kate Messner’s upcoming book, Keep the Ghost Light On! 👻💡

✨🍝 Today’s Special: Jonah’s Lasagna! ✨🍝

Sometimes the best ideas come from the most unexpected moments. One night, Jonah was out to dinner with his family when they bumped into Jim Riner from our Food Service Department.
As they chatted about all the amazing lunch options we serve, Jonah shared something important: He really wanted to see the “Beefy Lasagna” make a comeback.

Mr. Riner smiled and said he could make that happen …..and when he did, he promised he’d name it after Jonah. Well, TODAY he delivered! 🙌Jonah’s lasagna is officially on the menu!🎉
