Today was our first official House Meeting Day! 🎉 Our students learned more about their houses, practiced their chants, and played games to get to know their House family. They also started brainstorming and planning events for the year.

We can’t wait to see all of the amazing ideas our students come up with and, most importantly, all of the great things they will accomplish together this year! 💙🧡💚❤️💜💛🖤🩵

I just want to take a minute to brag on our new House Leaders! 🏠❤️

These students have already shown such incredible leadership and dedication by volunteering their time over the summer to come to school and help prepare for Open House, welcome our students back on the first day of school, stuff balloons for House Sorting Day, and even begin planning exciting events for the year ahead!

We truly have an amazing group of leaders, and we are so thankful to have them stepping up, serving others, and leading their peers. ❤️

I am beyond excited to see all of the great things this group will accomplish and all the amazing ideas they bring to HMS this year! The best is yet to come! 🏠✨🙌

This week, all of our new students were officially sorted into their houses! What a fun and memorable day as we welcomed them into the HMS family! 💙💚❤️🖤💜🧡💛🩵

We are SO excited to have each of them join our House System and can’t wait to see them build friendships, make memories, and represent their houses with pride! 🏆🙌

Today, our top 15 Amazing Shake finalists celebrated with an exciting trip to Southland Safari! It was such a great day filled with fun and unforgettable experiences. Our students even had the opportunity to put their communication skills to work by being interviewed for an upcoming episode of Wild Side TV. More information will be shared once the episode becomes available!

A huge shoutout to these students — and to all who participated in the Amazing Shake. Many of these kids started out uncomfortable speaking with adults, so watching their confidence grow to the point that some were able to step in front of a camera has been incredibly rewarding.

We are so thankful to Southland Safari Cabins & Guided Tours and their staff for allowing our students to be part of such a memorable experience!
