Preschool / Pre-K Teacher (Ages 3–5)
Join Our Team and Help Shape Little Minds!
Do you love glitter, giggles, story time, and watching children discover the world around them? Are you the type of person who can turn a cardboard box into a spaceship, a rainy day into an adventure, and a challenging moment into a learning opportunity?
If so, we may be looking for you!
Nursery Rhymes Child Care Center is seeking a full-time Preschool/Pre-K Teacher to work with our amazing children ages 3–5 years old. We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and understands that the most important work often happens during the earliest years of life.
What You'll Be Doing
Creating a fun, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment
Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play
Helping children build confidence, independence, social skills, and school readiness
Reading stories, singing songs, exploring science, creating art, and making memories every day
Building positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom
Celebrating milestones big and small (because tying your shoe for the first time is a big deal!)
What We're Looking For
We would love to find someone with education in Early Childhood Education or a related field. However, we know some of the best teachers gain their skills through hands-on experience, so candidates with relevant child care experience are encouraged to apply.
Our Non-Negotiables
We're willing to teach many things, but these qualities must already be part of who you are:
✔ Reliable – children, families, and coworkers count on you every day
✔ Dependable – showing up consistently matters
✔ Flexible – because every day with children is a little different
✔ Team Player – we believe great classrooms are built by great teams
If you're looking for a job where you can work independently without collaborating with others, this probably isn't the right fit. We support one another, jump in when needed, and celebrate successes together.
