We are short food in the school pantry and do not have enough to pack Christmas boxes, so we need Beta Members to step up. A list of items by grade is listed below. 4 items = 1 service hour; 8 items =2 hours.
10th grade bring canned veggies and pasta/rice
11th grade bring canned fruit and canned meats (chicken, tuna, Vienna sausages…)
12th grade bring canned meats and instant potatoes

Clarksburg School Christmas angels are now at the bank. We have a record number of kids on the list this year, so if you have the means and desire, please go by and choose an angel and spread some Christmas cheer. Thank you!

Thanksgiving and Christmas are fast approaching. Some members of our community need a little extra help this time of year, especially with rising costs and increasing expenses. Let’s create some holiday cheer by stocking our school pantry. Below is a list of items we would like each class to collect for our pantry. By dividing items out among classes, it enables us to ensure we have a variety of items for those in need. As an added element of fun, we will construct a Christmas tree from our food collections so that students can see their efforts in a tangible symbol of Christmas cheer. We will accept donations until Wednesday, November 29, 2023. Thank you!

We are thrilled to introduce the State Convention "World Traveler Challenge" – a thrilling global adventure that invites Betas to embark on a fun Voyage of Adventure!

In this exciting challenge, Betas will have the opportunity “travel” throughout their state convention to earn "stamps" from various countries around the world. Imagine your passport filling up with colorful stamps as you virtually travel from one corner of the globe to another. Here's how the challenge works.

Passport Prep: Visit the Beta Shop when you arrive to your State Convention to purchase our official passport. The passport is $5.

Country Missions: Inside the passport, participants will find a list of countries. Staff members from the National Beta office have assigned stamps. You’ll find a key inside the passport showing which staff member has which country.

Collecting Stamps: Successfully finding the staff member will earn participants a stamp in their passport for that country. Hint: we recommend reviewing the staff directory on the National Beta website so you can find the people with the stamps at your state convention.

Achievement Reward: You will not be able to collect every stamp at one State Convention. We have over 16 country’s stamps, but not every staff member attends every State Convention. The only way that you’ll completely fill your passport is by attending your State Convention and National Convention. All stamps will be available at Nationals. If you fill your entire passport, you will bring your passport to the National Convention registration table for verification and will earn an incredible trading pin.

Get ready to embark on a Voyage of Adventure all year long! Are you ready to become a true world traveler?

J.W. Beta, or simply "J.W.," is the beloved mascot of National Beta. This charming Boston Terrier was introduced ahead of the 2016 National Convention in Orlando, Florida, and is named after our esteemed National Beta Founder, John W. Harris. 🎩

Why a Boston Terrier, you ask? 🐕 Well, it's a nod to Wofford College's mascot, where our Founder proudly graduated from years ago. J.W. embodies the spirit and legacy of National Beta, and you'll find him proudly representing us on all things Beta Shop! 🛍️
