This is a reminder that Wednesday, October 14 is Picture Make-Up Day for both Middle School and High School Students. If your student missed Picture Day or needs to have their picture retaken, please plan for them to have their picture taken on October 14.

Our signups for Christmas start at the end of September. All signups this year will be at our building on 2514 Shadyside Avenue.
No appointment is necessary, just come in with the required information on the dates and times listed on the flyer and we will get you signed up! Feel free to share!

Congratulations to Standing Stone Elementary School for successfully completing the 2026 Governor’s School Breakfast Challenge! Standing Stone Elementary is one of only 68 schools across Pennsylvania to complete the Governor’s School Breakfast Challenge!

This statewide initiative encourages schools to increase student participation in morning school meal programs and promote healthy, nutritious breakfast habits to fuel learning.

Special thanks to Food & Nutrition Director Karlee Van Buskirk and our entire nutrition team for making sure our students start every day nourished and ready to learn.

We’ll take a closer look at the transition from Early Intervention to school‑aged services, and then explore secondary transition planning to support strong post‑school outcomes.

📢 Considering BILD for the 2nd Marking Period?

Enrollment is opening for students interested in transitioning to BILD full-time for the second marking period! BILD offers students a flexible online learning option while remaining connected to the Huntingdon Area School District and having access to district teachers, activities, athletics, programs, and support. ❤️💙

💻 Grades 6–12: Virtual Enrollment Session
📅 Tuesday, October 20 at 7:00 PM

🏫 Grades K–5: Families should email [email protected] to schedule an individual enrollment session.

Please note that October enrollment is for students making a full-time schedule change of 4 or more BILD classes. Students interested in part-time online learning will have another enrollment opportunity for the second semester.

⚠️ Attendance at an enrollment session is required for any student wishing to transition to BILD full-time for the second marking period.
