STUDENT AGE RANGE: As an experienced and certified elementary school teacher, I offer private tutoring in math, reading, writing, study and organizational skills to students in grades Kindergarten through 6th . *In addition, adults who are interested in tutoring are encouraged to work with me, whether it be for yourself, or because you want to be able to help your children with their schoolwork. *Fees will apply
TUTORING LOCATION: I conduct tutoring sessions primarily at local libraries within Montgomery County and Bucks County (Libraries: Huntingdon Valley, Abington, Southampton and Northampton). I am also available to go to your home, or you can come to my home in Huntingdon Valley (FYI, I have 2 dogs). If you live further than 20 minutes/10-mile radius from my location, additional fees may apply. SCHEDULE: I offer flexible scheduling to help meet your needs, as I know how hectic and busy life can be! Students who would like to schedule regular weekly or semi-weekly sessions will be given priority over students who only want to schedule occasional sessions. TUTORING METHOD: Every tutoring session is always personalized for your child’s individual needs. I am very aware that every child is unique and comes to me with different backgrounds and needs. The goal is to break the cycle of feeling frustrated and unsuccessful. Instead, the goal is to help children feel confident in their abilities and help them build a strong foundation in each subject area. Confidence is key! SCOPE OF MATERIAL: I offer remediation and enrichment in the areas of Reading, Writing, Math, and Study & Organizational skills for children in elementary school, grades Kindergarten through Sixth. I work with each student’s teachers in school as well as with the parents. Teamwork is the key to every child’s success! REFERRAL BONUSES: If a client refers another client to me, and that client takes at least 3 paid sessions, the referring client will receive a free session! This applies to all clients referred.
