This week, our little engineers dove into the world of bridges! π
We read books about bridges, explored different types of bridges, and learned who designs and builds them. During our nature walk, we practiced recognizing shapes and discovered how shapes help make bridges strong. We also conducted a bridge foundation experiment, testing different materials to see which could provide the best support. To wrap up our learning, we explored famous bridges from around the world and discussed how bridges are planned and constructed.
What a fun week of building, exploring, and discovering! π¨β¨ππΏ

Summer camp is right around the corner and we can't wait! βοΈπ¬
From messy science experiments and coding fun to outdoor adventures, music, movement, and even live animals, every day is packed with hands-on learning and fun.
If your little one loves to explore, create, build, and ask "why?" a hundred times a day, they'll fit right in. π

This week our little explorers dove into all things water ππ¦
We tested sink or float with boats, made waves with an ocean engineering activity, learned how rivers and lakes move water, and even discovered why an egg floats in salt water! ππ€π₯
Ohβ¦ and now everyone is apparently a certified ocean expert after learning all 5 oceans π
Preschool science is serious business around here.

ποΈβ°οΈ Landforms Week was full of creativity and hands-on learning! Students constructed their own islands, chose a landform to draw and measured it using rulers, explored how canyons are formed using sand and water to create erosion, and discussed different types of landforms along the way. Such a fun week of learning, building, and discovering the world around us! ππͺ¨π

Halfway through Landforms Week and the kids are having a blast! πβ°οΈ
So far weβve:
β’ Built mountains and hills with playdoh
β’ Created caves, volcanoes, islands, plains, and mountains
β’ Explored different landforms together
β’ Tried a canyon avalanche experiment π
β’ Took a nature walk to spot landforms in the real world π
Hands-on learning + messy fun = the best kind of week! π

This week we were little geologists πͺ¨
We went on a nature walk and collected all kinds of rocks, then came back and sorted them by size, color, and texture. After that, we got creative and painted some of our favorites π¨
Learning what geologists doβexploring, observing, and studying the earthβturned into a pretty fun (and a little messy) adventure!

It was all about outside fun and creativity! We spent time planting seeds, enjoying the fresh air, and making a special craft featuring our favorite letter and number. A great mix of learning and hands-on fun!
