Our 4th graders recently wrapped up their novel study of I Survived the Attacks of September 11, 2001 with a special panel of local firefighters, police officers, military members, and community guests.
In recognition of the 25th anniversary of September 11, students had the opportunity to ask questions, hear from those who serve our local communities, and make meaningful connections between the novel and the courage, sacrifice, and service we remember from that day.
