🎉❤️🖤 What a way to celebrate the start of a great school year! 🖤❤️🎉

Today we held our Beginning of the Year Celebration Circle, and our Raiders had so much fun celebrating together! We danced 💃🕺, recognized our amazing August Raiders of the Month 🌟, and awarded 1st Grade the Golden Spatula 🏆🍴 for showing the BEST cafeteria behavior!

More than anything, we simply enjoyed being together and celebrating the incredible start we’ve had to the school year. ❤️

There’s something special about having our whole school family together in one place. We all belong. We all work hard. We all grow.

We are so proud of our 4th and 5th grade multilingual learners who, through growth on the WIDA assessment and outstanding academic work, achieved full English proficiency! They worked incredibly hard last year and it really shows. Way to go! 🎧 🗣️ 📖📝❤️🤍🖤

A HUGE thank you to our SHS Raider Football Team for spending their morning welcoming our students and putting smiles on so many faces! Our littlest Raiders absolutely LOVE seeing the big kids show up for them. 🥰

Thanks to our amazing PTO, school supplies are covered! 🎉 Families can send in headphones, disinfecting wipes, and Kleenex/tissues anytime throughout this week—no need to bring everything on the first day.

Tomorrow is the big day, and we are so excited to welcome our students back to HBE! We can’t wait to see their smiling faces and kick off a great school year together.
