Our April Wing Ding included a special surprise today. Students and staff recognized Dr. Stansifer as Captain Sense of Humor and created a heartfelt tribute to our fearless leader. It was truly apparent how much Huntertown loves and values him. Dr. Stansifer, THANK YOU for all you do to make Huntertown such a special and welcoming place. You lead by example and always do the right thing. The PTO agrees, Huntertown Elementary is a better place because of you 💛🖤

🍎🐯TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK🐯🍎

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and MAN do we have some incredible teachers at Huntertown! The PTO provides lunches and treats throughout the week, and we are asking for some help to stock the Teacher’s Lounge.

Our PTO is providing the 5th grade students and teachers with a special T-Shirt to commemorate this first class through Willow Creek Middle School. Each 5th grader’s name will be listed on the back to celebrate this special group. If any parent, teacher, or staff member is interested in purchasing one as well, use the link below to place your order. The store will CLOSE SUNDAY MAY 3rd and will not be able to re-open. It’s a Google form for parents to fill out with their 5th grader’s name and size information in order for the gifted shirts to be properly ordered. Today all our Hoops superstars were acknowledged at the March Wing Ding. Huge thanks to Dr. Stansifer for compiling an awesome compilation video of the season. Please check your email to view the video.

Each year at Huntertown we partner with the University of St. Francis teaching program and offer 3 weeks of fun, exciting classes created and instructed by future teachers from USF!

Classes will run Tuesdays or Thursdays starting April 7th from 2:30-3:30pm. Use the link below to SIGN UP NOW! Limited spots available!! $20 per session- SIGN UP CLOSES 3/25!!

🌟Let’s GLOW Dance Party is FRIDAY!!! 🌟
If you signed up on the registration form to be one of our parent volunteers that evening- first off - THANK YOU VERY MUCH and if you can please arrive at 5:30pm that would be very helpful- park at door 7.

Our doors will open at 5:45 for student drop off. Please arrive back at the school at 8pm for pick up!!

REMEMBER!!! Wear all your neon colors or anything that glows under UV light! Some UV tattoos, paint, and glow sticks will be provided that evening - but don’t hesitate to bring your own or anything extra that GLOWS! We are SO excited for this first time event! We hope you are too!!
