Someone dear to us shared this today as a part of her family philosophy for relationship to the land you harvest from.

At Duara, we practice true thanksgiving, which is to walk the land we are on with consideration for our footsteps, moderation for our impact, and awareness to give more than we take. It’s a good practice.

We are so grateful to come to a space of land each week to put this ethos into practice and learn together!

Each day outside, our young ones have coherent lessons on living in harmony with the Earth through ACTION. As we move through each season, adjusting our foods, our clothing, and our daily activities accordingly, we naturally learn about the circle of life and the source of our wellness, feeling more empowered to thrive outside of the consumerism culture we come from.

In our first year together, we will get to experience, conceiving our first garden, preparing the soil, planting, observing and tending growth, and finally harvest next Fall. This is why our program is year-round!

At Satya, our intent is to awaken our innate connection to the natural world and our relationship to it through our outer senses and eventually our inner senses (our spiritual perception)

We learn life skills each day in coherence with the tasks ahead. Plant medicine, earth science, math, language arts and social studies are woven into each learning opportunity that life presents us!
