A child is sitting in a classroom without the supplies they need to learn.

A hospital is caring for patients with limited medical resources.

And this November, I have the opportunity to be part of the hands and feet of Jesus in those communities. 🇿🇦

So many people think, “I don't have anything to give.”

As I continue celebrating 50, I told God I didn’t just want to look good, feel good, and live well—I wanted my life to mean something.

I am beyond excited (and honestly still in awe) to share that I will be going on my first mission trip to Johannesburg, South Africa in November 2026. 🇿🇦

Our team will be serving in orphanages, schools, medical facilities, and local organizations—bringing food, clothing, hygiene items, books, and support for babies and mothers in hospitals. We’ll also be pouring into students through educational classes.

I am walking into this next chapter graced, grounded, and giving. Because my Golden Era isn’t just about me anymore… it’s about how many lives I can touch and impact along the way.

When I tell y’all I wanted my 50th birthday celebration to be an EXPERIENCE from start to finish… I meant that.

From the moment my guests said “yes” to this trip, I was already thinking about how to make them feel seen, celebrated, and taken care of.

So of course… I created a full itinerary book. Don't mind the typo of the location on the Welcome page...that's a story for the podcast.

Every detail was intentional—
🦋 A beautiful welcome message straight from my heart.
🦋 A day-by-day breakdown so nobody had to guess what’s happening. There was plenty of space for guests to do whatever they wanted on their own, although we pretty much hung out together the entire trip.
🦋 Outfit vibes (because listen… we are NOT showing up confused) My guests also got a moodboard for outfit inspo and a packing list.
🦋 Moments of connection, celebration, and just pure joy.

You may notice there is a day missing from this post. Ya'll don't need to know everything...ok🤣

I wanted my guests to arrive feeling prepared… but more importantly, I wanted them to feel LOVED.
Because this wasn’t just a birthday trip, this was their vacation too.

Seeing it all come together like this made all the pivots worth it.

I LOVE curating experiences and creating memorable moments, which is one of the reasons why I started

A moment I didn’t know to pray for… but God did.🦋

Two years ago, I took an Ancestry DNA test on a whim.
No expectations.
No intentions.
Just curiosity.
And somehow… God was already writing a whole new chapter.

This Christmas, I spent with my sisters.
Same blood.
Same laughter.
Same wonder.
First Christmas together.
First memories made on purpose.
First of many moments that feel both surreal and sacred.

God restores in ways we could never plan and has a way of circling back with gifts you didn’t know you were missing.

This Christmas reminded me to appreciate full circle moments. I went from being an only child to a little sister and an aunt. Wow! What a journey.
