Just a momma building her yoga business during naps and after bedtime, trying to make sure every local mom knows we only have THREE toddler yoga classes left this year!

Still taking this one in 🥹

This weekend I taught my first Toddler Yoga Teacher Training, something that started as an idea and became a room full of people learning, practicing and preparing to bring more intentional movement to little ones.

We spent three hours diving into what makes teaching ages 2 to 5 so unique, from class structure and engagement to songs, stories, breathwork, props, poses, regulation and age appropriate modifications. We practiced together, shared ideas and talked through how all of these pieces translate into a real toddler yoga class.

Seeing something I’ve spent so much time creating come to life in a room like this felt pretty surreal 💗

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who trusted me with the very first training and brought their questions, experience and energy into the room.

The first one is officially in the books, and I’m already working on the next one 🦋

Sunday, September 27 is our next morning of classes at Dance Fever Huntersville with Prenatal Yoga, Toddler Yoga, and Baby & Me Yoga. Toddler is officially sold out, but I still have room in Prenatal + Baby & Me!

There’s a unique stage between Baby & Me and traditional kids yoga—and this Sunday, we’re diving into how to teach it.

My Toddler Yoga Teacher Training for Ages 2–5 is designed to give yoga teachers practical tools to confidently create and teach classes for toddlers + preschoolers.

We’ll cover class structure, engagement + transitions, songs, stories, breathwork, props, play, age-appropriate poses and more—plus you’ll leave with a training manual, 80+ pose library, sample class + planning resources to use in your own teaching.

Toddler yoga isn’t just adult yoga with smaller bodies🧘‍♀️✨

Toddlers need movement, repetition, play, choices, and a whole lot of flexibility from the person teaching them.

Once I stopped expecting a toddler yoga class to look like a traditional yoga class, everything changed.

That’s exactly what I’m teaching inside my Toddler Yoga Teacher Training — how to take what you already know about yoga and adapt it into a class that actually works for ages 2–5 🤸

We’ll cover class structure, engagement + regulation, songs, stories, props, breathwork, age-appropriate poses and modifications, plus how to plan a full toddler yoga class from start to finish.

My love of planning is officially making its way into Toddler Yoga 😂

Historically, a lot of my classes have been a little more “here’s when I can make it work!”

But one of my goals this year is to be more intentional about growing this little business of mine - which means planning ahead AND giving you guys time to plan ahead too!

Soooo… I sat down and planned our Toddler Yoga classes for the rest of the YEAR. And registration is already open for every single one 🙌🏼

Fall themes, holiday themes + lots of toddler yoga fun coming our way. I seriously cannot wait 🤍
