The College Alumnae Club was organized March 1910 by Mrs. Mary Church Terrell, Dr. Sara Brown, Dr. Fairfax Brown, and Miss Mary Cromwell in Washington, DC. So excited! The branches in NAUW's southeast section donated items to Gladys House, a transitional shelter for homeless women here in Charlotte. The founder, Carrie Pegues, gave us a wonderful inspirational speech that got us fired up to serve!

2015 Doctoral Fellowship App 04/15/2015

NAUW National Doctoral Fellowship Application

The National Association of University Women awards two $3,000.00 doctoral fellowships annually -- one award will be presented to the most qualified member of NAUW, and one award will be presented to the most qualified non-NAUW member.

Applicants with a Master’s Degree are encouraged to apply, must be enrolled in a doctoral program at a nationally accredited university, and can only be a one-time recipient. In addition to these guidelines, the application outlines the supporting documentation that is required.

PLEASE NOTE: All information must be submitted TO THE NATIONAL OFFICE in a single package via registered mail and RECEIVED by May 1, 2015.

2015 Scholarship Application 03/30/2015

The members of the Charlotte Branch of the National Association of University Women are pleased to announce that applications for our 2015 Book Scholarship are now being accepted.
Complete application packets received from female high school seniors with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher will be eligible for review (incomplete and/or noncompliant applications will not be considered.) APPLICATIONS ARE DUE APRIL 30, 2015.
