We had the opportunity to visit the Carolina Raptor Center, and it was an experience filled with curiosity, wonder, and so many meaningful moments.

The children were able to see these incredible birds up close, learn about how they are cared for, and explore the trails together. It was beautiful to watch their questions, their excitement, and the way they connected with both nature and each other throughout the day.

Experiences like this are such a meaningful extension of what happens in the classroom, giving children the chance to learn through real life exploration and connection.

So much life in the garden lately 🌿
From planting and watering to exploring and discovering, the children are fully immersed in the experience.

We’ve made some wonderful improvements to the space, and one of our parents added hand painted signs for the plants, which the children have been loving. It’s such a special part of our days.

Summer at The Children’s Schoolhouse is just around the corner, and we’re excited to welcome children ages 3 to 6 for a season full of play and discovery. Each week features a different theme to inspire curiosity and creativity, including nature exploration, water play, art, cooking, construction, and imaginative adventures.

With plenty of outdoor time and hands on experiences, our camps offer a joyful, child led summer in our parent cooperative community.

Spots are limited and fill quickly. We look forward to a fun summer together!

We are thrilled to announce our historic schoolhouse, outdoor kitchen house, well house, and both B&G sheds now have brand-new roofs! The previous roof was over 25 years old and developed several leaks. A massive thank you to Zurix Group Roofing & Repair for their expert craftsmanship on these extensive structural repairs—giving us a roof designed to last for decades.
