Check out the 5th grade hallway! Thank you to all the parents and volunteers who decorated- it looks INCREDIBLE! The 5th graders loved it, and especially loved finding their astronaut on the wall with their picture! What an amazing sendoff to 6th grade! πŸ‘½πŸ‘¨β€πŸš€πŸš€πŸ›Έ

Please proctor tomorrow if available! Reach out to Mrs. Ramanand if you are able. Thank you!!

Due to the state testing server issues today, we will be administering the Reading EOG tomorrow (Friday, 5/29) for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. We are in need of 9 proctors to make this happen. If you or a family member are available to support TCE by proctoring, please reply to this message. Thank you for your support! (A very few number of students were able to finish their test today. Those students will be with a staff member and not have to retake the test).

What is a Proctor? A monitor in the classroom with the test administrator. Wear comfortable shoes as you will be circulating the classroom. You may bring a water bottle. No electronic devices (including cell phones and smart watches) are allowed - these items can be held in the office.

How long does it take? Proctors arrive at 8:15. Most proctors are released by or before 12:30. All proctors will receive a short training before testing begins.

Who can proctor? You must be a CMS registered volunteer to proctor. Please go to www.cmsvolunteers.com to begin the process! If you’re already registered, please make sure you update your status for the 2025-2026 school year!

Sir Purr visited Torrence Creek this afternoon to pump our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders up for the EOGs. He gave us four keys to success to making the EOGs a SNAP:
S: 8-10 hours of sleep
N: eat a nutritious breakfast
A: have a positive attitude
P: be sure to Play 60 everyday

A healthy mind and body are the keys to success!
