It has been a busy and exciting summer as we've welcomed new families and students to the SOAR Hybrid Program! We can't wait to kick off the new school year on August 17 and begin another year of learning, exploration, and connection.

For the last two days of Art Week, our campers explore the world of fantasy mapmaking while learning about the difference between organic and geometric shapes. Students began by staining their paper with tea to create an aged, treasure-map appearance. They then used a variety of organic materials, including rice, beans, and pasta, to trace and build unique landforms and shapes inspired by nature. Using their creativity and imagination, campers transformed these shapes into one-of-a-kind fantasy maps filled with mysterious islands, winding coastlines, and magical destinations. It was wonderful to see each student’s creativity shine as they combined art, texture, and storytelling into their final creations!

Our first two days of Art Week at summer camp was full of creativity, imagination, and a little bit of magic! ✨🧪 Campers designed and created their own potion bottles, complete with unique ingredients, colorful details, and plenty of storytelling. We loved seeing each student’s personality shine through their artwork and can’t wait for more artistic adventures this week!
