On Tuesday, we welcomed back our former Mighty Mustangs who are graduating seniors in the Class of 2026! 🎓 They took one final walk through the halls of Long Creek, inspiring our current students and celebrating how far they’ve come. We are so proud of their accomplishments and know they will do great things in the future. Congratulations, Class of 2026!

Thank you to the Jordan Davis Foundation for supporting our staff during EOG testing! 💚🐴 Their generous donation of morning and afternoon snacks helped keep our team energized throughout testing week. We are grateful for your kindness and support of our Mighty Mustangs students and staff!

A huge thank you to our partners at Joe Gibbs Racing for treating all of our Mighty Mustangs and staff to soft-serve ice cream yesterday! 🍦 After a year of hard work and several days of testing, this sweet surprise was the perfect way to celebrate and recharge. The ice cream brought lots of smiles and a little extra energy to help us finish the school year strong. Thank you for your generosity and support! 🏁

🍩 Help our Mighty Mustangs raise some dough! Long Creek Elementary’s Krispy Kreme Fundraiser runs May 15–22. Students should check backpacks and folders for order forms and help support our school! Orders and payments are due by 12 PM on Friday, May 22. Doughnut pickup is Wednesday, May 27. You can also order online using the QR code or link on the flyer. See the flyer for full details!

Jordan shared the importance of hard work and perseverance and encouraged students to do their best on EOG tests. We are so thankful he took time to visit and inspire our students. 🎓 Calling all former Mighty Mustangs! 🎓
If you are a Long Creek Elementary alum graduating with the Class of 2026, we invite you to come back and walk the halls one more time during our Senior Walk celebration on Tuesday, June 2 at 1:00 PM! Seniors will help lead our kindergarten students into their Promotion Ceremony at 1:30 PM.

Long Creek Elementary is looking for parent and community volunteers to serve as EOG Proctors for 3rd–5th grade testing May 28–June 8.
