Northern Cass School District #97 We are a PreK-12 school in rural Hunter, ND. Northern Cass School is a PreK-12 school located in rural Hunter, ND. We are driven towards continuous improvement.

Our school population is comprised of students from Argusville, Arthur, Erie, Gardner, Grandin, and Hunter, as well as a large population of open enrolled students from surrounding communities. We believe every student can change the world; therefore, we must provide a world class education. We are dedicated and passionate about relationships, teaching and learning, self-reflection, acknowledging greatness, and support of the Northern Cass community.

🧦💛 Help Us Spread Some Warmth! 💛🧦

We’re collecting new sock donations throughout September as we partner with Golden Drive HomelessKids and the Cass County Sheriff's Office - Fargo, ND to help make sure no child in our community goes without a warm, cozy pair of socks this winter!

A simple donation can make a big difference. ❤️

📍 Drop-off: The donation bin is located outside the Northern Cass office.
🏈 Next week: You’ll also find the sock donation bin near the ticket table at our Homecoming game!

Let’s fill that bin and show our community a little Jaguar kindness! 🐾🧦💛

Got a vintage car? 🚙 A shiny tractor? 🚜 Or just something totally awesome to show off? Bring it to our Northern Cass Homecoming Parade and be part of the FUN!

🚙 No sign-up. No stress. Just show up, show out, and get ready to toss that candy like a pro! 🍬

🍬 BRING PLENTY OF CANDY! Over 700 Jaguars will be lining the sidewalks, ready to catch some treats! 🐾💛

Please note: No items containing latex may be thrown. Learners must be seating at all times while on the float.

Ready to take the stage? Auditions for this year’s One Act Play are happening Tuesday, September 15 from 3:30–4:15 PM in the Band Room!

Our Varsity Girls Golf team took on the Fargo Country Club course today and battled their way to a 4th-place team finish! 👏

Leading the Jags was Freshman Haiden B., who shot an impressive 92 to lead the team! 💪

🐾 Meet Wendi Johnson! 🐾

We’re excited to welcome Wendi Johnson to the Northern Cass School Board! 🎉

Wendi lives in Argusville with her husband, Jed, and their three kids, Jack, Henry, and Lydia. A proud military veteran, she spent 22 years serving in the Air National Guard in both Oregon and Fargo.

As a new board member representing Argusville Area #6, Wendi is passionate about supporting our educators and staff, listening to our school community, and helping create the best possible opportunities for our learners.

When she’s not busy with family life, you’ll find Wendi getting lost in a good book, working in her gardens, or cheering on her kids at their sporting events. 📚🌻🏆

Northern Cass is looking for ticket takers for our upcoming fall sports season! 🏐🏈 This is a great way to show your team spirit, connect with our community, and cheer on the Jags—all while earning a little extra $$$!

✅ $40 for volleyball games (approx. 3.5 hrs)
✅ $20 for football games (approx. 1.5 hrs, 2 people per game)
