IASC state convention 2023- What a great trip to Chicago and the IASC convention. It is an honor to be their advisor. They made Shiloh proud! They certainly made it a memorable one!❤️ Andy won gold for his honor book! Bri was recognized for being a discussion group leader! Lydia was recognized for being a round table moderator. Charlie, Maggie and Emily (who stayed home for the musical) were recognized for service projects! Jack was an honor delegate for hosting a state workshop. Our first ever Shiloh Pillar Award for dedication went to Jacob Smith! Only one student per council can be nominated. Our first ever Shiloh STAR award was presented to us for outstanding Service, Teambuilding, Appreciation work, Rallies/school spirit, and State convention involvement. We were recognized for participating in the state service project. We volunteered with East Central Foodbank. Our district’s (KDASC’s) first Lincoln Award of Distinction was presented. Many of these awards are the top the IASC has to offer. The theme for state this year was “Ignite the Fire of Leadership”. This last year we met that challenge and more! This group has been “on fire” all year and I can’t wait to see what next year brings!
