2027 is going to be insanely amazing!

I’ll be speaking at two of the country’s biggest educational technology conferences: TCEA in San Antonio, and I just woke up this morning to find out I’ve been accepted to speak at FETC in Orlando!

At both conferences, I’ll be presenting a topic very near and dear to me: “Building Computer Certification Programs That Get Results.”

I’m incredibly excited for the opportunity to help educators from around the country build certification programs that are second to none.

The one little catch? FETC is in Orlando, and then I’ve basically got two days to haul my butt to San Antonio for TCEA. But hey, there are several Waffle Houses along the way, so I’ll be fueling up with lots of coffee. 😂☕

January and February are going to be absolutely insane, but again, amazing!

Achievement unlocked. 🏆

STACKFORD HAS WARES… IF YOU HAVE PURCHASE ORDERS. 😹

I’m excited to share that StackFord is officially hitting the road in 2027 with vendor booths at two major education technology conferences:

FETC 2027
January 26–29, 2027
Orlando, Florida

TCEA 2027 Convention & Exposition
January 31–February 3, 2027
San Antonio, Texas

We’ll be bringing our curriculum, IT certification resources, books, and plenty of geekiness along for the ride.

This is another pretty exciting milestone for StackFord. What started with creating resources to help students and teachers succeed in IT is turning into something much bigger—and apparently now requires vendor booths, conference freight, and an overloaded vehicle. 😂

If you’re attending either conference, come find us. We’ll have wares.

Purchase orders preferred. 🤓

NEW ACHIEVEMENT: CONFERENCE STAGE UNLOCKED!

I received some fantastic news this morning. My session, “Building Computer Certification Programs That Get Results,” has been accepted for the 2027 TCEA Convention & Exposition in San Antonio!

I’ll be presenting on February 1 at 8:00 a.m. Apparently, the real boss battle will be convincing a conference audience to discuss certification programs that early in the morning.

I’m incredibly excited for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned from more than 25 years in technology education, including the strategies that helped my students achieve a 95% certification pass rate.

TCEA 2027, here I come!

Took Christy out to dinner tonight at Texas Road House, and found a dead mouse in the parking lot.

I started the process on Jan. 30, 2026, but I am happy to announce that StackFord is now StackFord®

Yup, we have a registered trademark. 🤓🥳🤓

STEM Go Pro Day 2026 was a great experience! I had the opportunity to speak with students about getting started in the IT field, their education and training options, industry certifications, and the importance of building a professional network. I always enjoy helping students see that there is more than one path into a successful technology career.

I also have to admit that it was pretty amazing to look up and see StackFord on the marquee inside Shell Energy Stadium. That was definitely a proud moment and a great reminder of how far we have come. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success!

Training successful!

What an incredible experience—and my first international consulting contract! 🤓🤯

It was a privilege to help a global team explore practical ways to use AI to work smarter, solve problems, and boost productivity. Looking forward to many more opportunities like this!

One of the great things about running an education and training consulting business is that no two weeks ever look the same.

Tonight I'm staying near the Houston Galleria, getting ready for an early morning AI training session with a global client.

There's something really rewarding about helping organizations cut through the AI hype and focus on tools that genuinely make people more productive.

And yes... I fully admit it. I'm a geek. 🤓

What a fantastic few weeks.

I got to teach at Baylor University and today wrapped up a 6 month teaching assignment for Region4 ESC and WeTeach_CS

Today has been a surreal day.

I taught. I actually taught on Baylor University campus today. This was a first. I've taught on several college campuses but never a University.

Got back to the hotel room took a short nap, then borrowed a conference room at the hotel and had a video conference with the University of New South Wales about the AI consulting. Then in about two weeks I am teaching at the largest ESC in Texas, Region 4.

If you had asked me 6 months ago, this would never have been on my radar.
