Our Lady Lions have been busy on and off the court and we’re so proud of the growth this team has had this season.
Under the guidance of their amazing coach - Coach Jordyn - these girls have learned to work together as a team, what is means to be a team player, how to encourage each other and how to show up for each other!

There are still a few games to catch before the season ends!

Our 3rd & 4th grade classes recently put their engineering skills to the test by creating their very own football stadiums. 🏈

Some of the things they covered while creating and erecting their stadiums was -
•Angles
•Area & perimeter
•Geometry
•Carrying & borrowing
•Estimation & rounding up or down
•Parallel & perpendicular lines
•Money & budgets
•Inches/feet/yards
•Push & pull
•Magnetism
•Anchors & support
•Foundation & structure

These kiddos worked together and they worked hard and we absolutely love their finished products.
As young engineers, they learned by trial and testing that everything has a solution. ❤️

Our Preschool & Pre-K students recently wrapped up Fire Safety Week with a visit from the Humble Fire Department. 🚒🔥🧯

Our students had an amazing time recapping all they had learned during the week with their visit from these special first responders.

God bless you all and thank you again to the Humble Fire Department!

Our 6th graders have been getting hands-on while learning about the different properties of matter!

They measured the mass of various objects and used their measurements to explore density.

Then came the fun part—making predictions and testing whether their objects would sink or float! 🙃

Joshua 1:9 Learning Center is celebrating 10 years of God’s faithfulness ✨

10 years.
Hundreds of students and their families.
Many cherished staff members.

The number of lives that Joshua 1:9 Learning Center has touched over the last decade is significant and we are so grateful for each and every one.

Whether you were here with us for a only a brief moment in time or if you’ve been here with us since the beginning - you are part of our story and we are thankful to each and every one of you for helping us to write it.

Many thanks to our Joshua 1:9 families that helped contribute to our celebration this past weekend with their generous donations - we appreciate each and every single one of you! 🍪🥤

A special thank you to local florist, Treasures To Adore, on Wilson Rd for their beautiful floral arrangement to help commemorate our special occasion.

Thank you, God, for 10 years and we look forward to many more! ❤️
