What a day of discovery! 🦖🔬🦋 Our school-age students had an incredible time exploring the Houston Museum of Natural Science! From towering dinosaur fossils and sparkling gems to fascinating wildlife exhibits and hands-on learning experiences, every corner of the museum sparked curiosity and excitement.

Field trips like these bring learning to life by encouraging children to ask questions, make connections, and explore the world around them. We loved watching our students learn, discover, and create memories together during this unforgettable summer adventure!

Our toddlers were so proud of themselves as they successfully stacked their cups from biggest to smallest. Moments like these may seem simple, but they are building important skills like fine motor development, problem-solving, concentration, and confidence.

Watching their faces light up when they realized they did it all on their own was the best part of our day! At The Goddard School of Lake Houston, we celebrate every accomplishment because each one is another step in a lifelong love of learning. 🌟

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.
2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.
3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can are a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
