Fun Friday!
So what did become of those painting plates? We made them monster spiders!! Grrrr…
Initially, I asked the children to paint the plates as a distraction from our pumpkins being put up to dry. They did and put those little balls on top of the wet paint. After they dried, I put a drop of elmers glue on each ball as they added the googly woogly eyes on top! I stapled legs to the foam plates prior. I admit, that was not the best idea. See tips. Overall, I personally loved the project. Super Cool Monster Spiders with GOOGLY WOOGLY Eyes will be a craft we will do again at Team Tots Atascocita.🤗
Tips:
I recommend if you’re going to staple the legs, use a thin inexpensive paper plate not foam. Superglue or stringing the pipe cleaner through a hole made with a hole puncher are some other options.
Wishing you and your little ones Safe and Happy Halloween!! 🎃

Fun Friday!
It was a fun day at Team Tots Atascocita with Pumpkin Painting! For those of you still debating whether you really want to hand your toddler a paint brush with actual paint, read on. Lay down some old towels, put one color of washable paint on a plate, get some matching aprons and brushes, and take pictures! When the paint dries, have them apply sticker faces, use glue and glitter, more paint to make designs, whatever sounds fun to you and your little one. Clean up was easy. Hand washing with warm water, aprons and towels off to the laundry, and wiping down the table. These two cuties did an excellent job. Check out next Fun Friday at Team Tots Atascocita when we show what became of their painting plates on the table!🕷🤗
Tip: Wash and dry your pumpkin gently before hand. Give it a coat of sealer to prevent peeling. We had one pumpkin that was peeling, didn’t seal either one. However, it just made the monster look even cooler! 😉

Fun Friday!
Well if it isn’t the famous orange jack-o’-lantern on a plate. We all may be familiar with this one but your toddler most likely is not. So whether you paint that jack-o’-lantern pink yellow or blue, add glitter or glue candy, use stickers or keep it spooky and traditional with orange and black you’re kiddo is going to be excited. It’s another project that I love because it’s minimal work for the parents and fun for the children. Get some paint, some glue, and some ideas from your little guy or gal and make an amazing jack-o’-lantern together. I recommend that awesome washable paint, play clothes, and something simple that protects the furniture for easy clean up. Have fun! 🤗

Fun Friday! I’m posting this craft because I feel that this is a great project that younger children can actually start and finish with minimal help from a parent or caregiver. Even though you make the face, you can always ask your little ones what kind of face they would like. They can also count the little balls that go in. You and your little one can even go as far as asking other people to guess how many balls are in there. Only you two know the answer. 🤗

Hello and Welcome! With over 15 years experience caring for children, I’ve taken everything that I’ve learned and put it into this amazing space. I think now more than ever, we need to get these kids out and socializing. So I wanted a space that was geared specifically towards ages 2-4. I wanted it to be a small group, 4/5 children. That way we can work and do the same activities with only small adjustments between the children. For instance, learning time, we can learn the same things but a two-year-old is not going to respond the same as a four year old. That’s where things get a little bit more individualized. Other than that, it’s a place to go outside and play together, sing songs together, eat together, play indoors together, and read together! I’m officially opening September 26th. I’ve got one little guy signed up. He needs some friends! Thank you for reading!
This program is now available 4 days per week. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Hello my name is Natalia Ordonez and I am offering in home childcare three days per week, Tuesday-Thursday. With over 15 years experience as a child care giver and three children of my own, I’ve created a special space for children to play and learn. It’s a place for, a maximum of five, 3 and 4 year olds who are ready to meet other children their age and interact with them. We will learn how to play together as a group and independently. We have indoor and outdoor playtime, some laid back pressure free abc’s and 123’s, art, songs, and story time. We are building character by spending time together and learning about one another.
